Need "Top 5" list of Word enhancements

Our company is finally going to Office 365! We have been using Office 2000 for years.

What is your "top 5" list of cool\useful\great improvements made to Word since Word 2000?   I want to get our users excited about Word (if that is possible)!

TIA,

edm2

Ha, Excited about Word? Why not...

  • How long have you been staggering around with images and pictures in your document? No need to anymore. Placement has never become more easy.
  • Of course the syles to enhance your pictures... during my courses everyone tries all of them just to see the effect.
  • File size (as mentiond in the Excel thread)
  • The ribbon (much easier access in Word!)
  • Mailmerge all neatly put together in one tab
  • SmartArt, believe me your documents will never look the same
  • The new and improved building blocks
  • Take screenshotes straight into your documents
  • Coverpages... your documents will really look astonishing (customizable as well!)

Well there is much more but this should give you a first impression I guess.

Good luck with the migration and as the saying goes... Word Up!

Maurice,

Another good answer. Looks like I need to do some brushing up as I didn't understand your references to

>>>  The new and improved building blocks

building blocks?

>>>  Take screenshotes straight into your documents

I didn't know one could do that!
